Principal's Sunday Message

Dear Perry Families,

We hope that this finds all our Perry families doing well.  As we come into the final home stretch of the school year, please remember to talk to your child about staying focused in their schoolwork.  Support from home is very important, and we all need to work together to keep our students coming to school ready to learn.

  *   Food Pantry will be this coming Wednesday, May 25 from 12:30pm-1:30pm.  I have attached the flyer for more information.  Food Pantry.pdf<>

  *   All students can sign up for summer school this year.  I have added updated information about this.   *   State testing for grade 3-4 will continue in May.  Please do your best to have your child at school on the days that your child is scheduled to be tested.  Please make sure they have a healthy breakfast. Please do your best to avoid trips and/or doctor appointments during testing days.  Please see the attached testing calendar for the days your child will be tested.  CAASPP Testing Calendar - 2022 CAASPP.pdf<>

  *   Kindergarten promotion will be on Monday, June 13 and 5th grade promotion will be on Tuesday, June 14.  I have attached the flyer with the details.  If you would like a hard copy of this flyer, we have put some outside in the front of the school so that you can pick one up at any time.  K Promotion _ 5th Grade Graduation (2).pdf<>

LCFF forms will be going home on Monday, May 23.  The Local Control Funding Fomula (LCFF) determines how much money districts receive to fund education. This year, districts are allowed to collect LCFF information in the spring and use it to potentially increase funding next school year. Parent/guardians are asked to submit information only once per each student, either via the PowerSchool Parent Portal or by completing a paper scan form. Those who respond this spring will not need to provide information in the fall.  Please return the hard copy and/or complete the information in PowerSchool Parent Portal.  Thank you!

Please remember that school starts at 9:05am.  We appreciate all the support from our Perry families.

All the best,

Ms. Morales-Principal
